By leveraging incentives rather than technical complexity to solve the scale problem, Litheum’s design remains outstandingly simple. Not only does this make Litheum easy to work with, but this simplicity reflects itself in the user experience as well, meaning that onboarding and keeping users happy is much easier.
Litheum will support a flourishing ecosystem of decentralized applications. It’s important that the Litheum infrastructure is able to support the best engineering and tooling. As an EVM compatible chain, your tools will be familiar and your code, skills, and expertise are portable. With EVM under the hood, Litheum is also able to communicate easily with the existing blockchain ecosystems and interoperate with the valuable and critical services that empower your users.
Litheum will have decentralized exchanges with order books, a revolution in Gamefi, decentralized tech in social media, enough scale for the largest metaverse, and hundreds of innovative applications that will be dreamt up by innovative DApp developers. If you want to deliver the safety and freedom of decentralization to your users, come join us.
To support the best DApps in the blockchain ecosystem, the Litheum Team will support a suite of decentralized infrastructure.
The base layer is optimized for financial operations, with high transactional throughput and maximized security. Although it is extremely performant compared to current-era blockchains, not everything should be done on the base layer.
Like Litheum itself, the entire ecosystem will leverage the techniques of True Decentralization to provide the most affordable and secure systems from top to bottom.
T-Zero is Litheum’s real-time system for DApps that need near-instant transaction processing. This tech will offer unparalleled performance for Gaming, Point-of-Sales, and Trading/Financial DApps.
A Truly Decentralized rollup-style layer 2 solution will allow a single node to act as the single-source of transaction processing, allowing this node to immediately check for double-spending and assure clients that their transaction has been received and will be included. A slashable collateral (bond) will be posted to assure these real-time transactions are processed correctly.
The base layer, Litheum, will offer unparalleled storage capability when compared to typical Layer 1 blockchains, but the base layer is not usually the best place to store data in a decentralized manner.
By tuning the Proof of Performance consensus to favor lower redundancy (Runner count) and higher storage capacity, a very simple storage solution can be achieved.
Cross-chain communication and value-transfer is a critical part of decentralized tech.
Named after the mythical Adam’s Bridge between India and Sri Lanka, Litheum Rama Setu will be a general-purpose bridge with capability of communication with all the top blockchains. Similar in design to T-Zero, but with a focus on 3rd-party finality risk-management for receiving value from other changes and fast finality to accommodate 3rd parties which wish to transfer value from Litheum.
Oracles are another important piece of any decentralized ecosystem.
Litheum Delphi will also leverage a PoP-like consensus to bring real-world and 3rd party blockchain data onto Litheum via collateralized attestation.
