The Lucky Hash mechanism is how Litheum incentivizes Data Runners which provide data from the blockchain. When you find a Lucky Hash, a lucky Data Runner will also be rewarded.
This is critical to the network and is part of what allows Litheum to scale safely and remain decentralized.
Upon discovering a Lucky Hash, you will see a notification in your wallet. You can also check the Lucky Hash tab to see Lucky Hashes. Simply click on the transaction and send it to claim your reward!
Behind the scenes, your wallet will attempt to contact a Data Runner to retrieve some random data. The Data Runner will also share a portion of the reward from the Lucky Hash (that’s the whole point of the Lucky Hash mechanism, we help the Data Runners).
